    • Rooms will be held in Ballroom BC, Ballroom ADE, and JR Ballroom

    • There will be 3 rooms Broken down by age:

      • Petite: 8 & under

      • Junior: 9-13

      • Senior: 14 and above

    • SENIOR Dancers we recommend to please bring character shoes or appropriate Musical Theatre heels for the Musical Theatre Class.

    • TAP CLASS: We encourage all dancers to take the TAP classes, if they do not have tap shoes they can take in their tennis shoes. If dancers do not feel comfortable taking Tap they can take the lower level class that is going on at the same time as their scheduled tap class.

    • AUDITION WORKSHOP CLASS is a fun informational class for all dancers to participate in where they will learn the fundamentals of Auditioning in the real world.

    • Observer Bands will be on sale at the door for $20.00 a person. The observer band will allow purchasers to watch the classes throughout the day. At 5:00pm the doors will open for Showcase and is free to watch for all parents/guests. This Year we are partnering with Dancers Against Cancer and all the Proceeds from purchasing Observer Bands will go to DAC.

    • Showcase: The KAR Dance Convention Showcase is an informal showing for the parents to see what the dancers have learned throughout the day. Parents are encouraged to take photos and videos of their dancer to capture the fun and excitement of the weekend. The showcase lasts approximately one hour and includes: Master Teacher Introduction, Class Performances and Scholarships. Parents are welcome to attend the Showcase free of charge, a wristband is not required to watch the Showcase.

    • Pro:tégé Performer Program! Pro:tégé Performer Workshop and Audition is Only $60 at the door! Dancers must audition in the room that they are taking class for the entire day. If your dancers are auditioning to be a Pro:tégé Performer we highly recommend they take all classes throughout the day as the faculty will be looking at them in all genres. Faculty members will choose dancers in each of the age groups. Winners who are selected as 2026 Pro:tégé Performers will be announced at the end of the Showcase!
