Attendance Policy:
All Company members are expected to attend all classes prior to competition dates. All classes are mandatory *2 weeks prior to each competition date and any absences can lead to removal of dance(s). Dancers will be removed from solos, duos, trios, and small group dances first before group dances. Exceptions will be made for sickness, injury, religious or mandatory school related obligations. Please note that it is important that all members try to attend all classes as this ensures optimal learning and knowledge of choreography. If a dancer misses choreography the dancer must learn the material missed BEFORE the next class. It is the dancer’s RESPONSIBILITY to catch up by learning from other students and coming prepared with questions for your instructor! If you come across a scheduling conflict, please contact us to make other arrangements at info@momentumdancema.com or through our form online. If your dancer exceeds 2 or more absences in one month they will need to make up for this in any level technique classes or they will be in jeopardy of moving levels and/or/ company placement.
*If your family is planning on traveling during WPS School Vacation please communicate this with our staff beforehand. Your dancer will not be penalized.
