Ages 12 &up, will be focusing on pointe work, will be developing a more comprehensive movement vocabulary, and use of artistic qualities.

  • Students will be held to a high standard as they are ambassadors for this program, and therefor are expected to act as leaders in and outside of class, showing focus, hard work, and respect at all times. Students in this program are expected to remember corrections, topics, and experiences from their accelerated class. This program will teach them dedication, focus, discipline, independence, attention to detail, poise, responsibility, etc. that will last them a lifetime.

Students will be placed into different pointe levels depending on length of time and experience on pointe. Students who are still waiting to get their shoes, have just started on pointe, or still have more work to do on fundamentals will take the pre-pointe/Pointe 1 class, whereas students with more experience on pointe will take the pointe 2 class. Dancers looking to add extra pointe to their schedule are welcome to take both classes.
